Careers: Outside Sales Rep, Massachusetts

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Close new business opportunities with medium to large businesses for Veroxity's SONET, Ethernet, Private Line and Internet Access Services
  • Consult and advise prospects on Veroxity's services
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and technical solutions to prospective customers (Engineer and VP level)
  • Qualify, scope and solicit orders from prospective customers
  • Effective prospecting, cold calling, and funnel management
  • Developing a network of partners for lead generation
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
  • Provide management with monthly sales forecasts based on sales lead opportunities
  • Manage established accounts, maintaining relationships and pursuing additional opportunities for add-on services

Qualification Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of previous high-tech sales experience selling wide area network services or related networking product/consulting services
  • Met or exceeded monthly sales quotas selling network communication services
  • Knowledge of data communications, network infrastructure and telecom industry
  • Must maintain a qualified network of accounts/contacts previously sold into and capable of selling Veroxity's services
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter, requiring minimal supervision with entrepreneurial spirit and desire for career growth
